About Tradevcogen

Tradevcogen S.A. was founded in 1959 in Geneva, Switzerland by Moni Fayon as a leather trading company, and soon became one of the major leather trading companies in Europe.

In the early 80's, his two sons joined the company, as the fifth generation in the trading business, and became immediately involved in trading raw materials and other commodities not only for the leather business, but also for the textile industry.

In the early 90's, realising the importance of being closer to the producers, Tradevcogen S.A. made a successful joint venture in England and formed Skins International, which is now amongst the biggest collectors of skins in the U.K.

During the same period, following the same vision and attitude, the company established Tradeskins New Zealand Ltd, which, thanks to their invaluable and professional team, has developed into one of the leading animal by-product trading company in New Zealand, trading pickled pelts, hides and skins , and rendered products.

In the mid 90's, Tradeskins Australia was founded , which is regarded as one of the major exporters of Australian raw skins and hides in the world market today.

Tradevcogen S.A. also has an office in Istanbul, involved in the stocking of wool tops and trading of acrylic tow/tops and yarns.

The strength of Tradevcogen comes from the invaluable efforts of the people working for the group and good teamwork, in addition to the vision and principles of its founder, having the highest ethics in business and the best service for suppliers and buyers.
